“Quit Recycling the Past”

This chapter came across as more than sharing stories with a group of people. It seemed as if how the person told the story mattered more. The person was able to choose how they told a story freely with no judgement. There also seem to be an implication as to how the past influences our own stories and how we take these stories and grow with them. This can relate to Greer’s idea of YA novels, seeing characters grow and learn from past experiences.
