The music gap between Millennials and Gen Z music-wise is rather small as the music between both generations is similar. I want to connect this idea through older generations with ”sampling”. New music nowadays uses a melody or a verse from older songs to give them a chance in the new generation.

As the older generation expresses their displeasure with today’s music, it’s an action that has been going on for generations. While there is a gap in generations, there is also a gap within the music. This article will be useful in my essay because it will help me break down this music gap and why older generations don’t enjoy the new style of music.
