Technological breakthroughs

What key technological breakthroughs accompanied the transition to the print and electronic eras? Why were these changes significant?

The print and electronic eras rose from several major factors and changes. Some of these changes happen to be from and because of technology such as new inventions like the telephone, computer, and printing press. The telephone especially was a major breakthrough and continues to make strides in today’s world. Since the beginning of it’s time, it has affected society in good and not so good ways. It has affected the ways people consume and share media and information amongst themselves and others. Also, over time it has become a way for people to promote political and religious beliefs whether they be professional or not.

Another technological breakthrough that helped the transition to the electronic era was the computer. Likewise to the telephone, the computer was a new, fresh start to the sharing and making of media. It was one of the first real strides towards the evolution of technology. Not only did it improve upon media, it also had and has aided in professional environments.
