Not only did my family travel to Arches National Park, but we also drove to see Bryce Canyon National Park. By just a two hour drive south we experienced a complete change in landscape. Going from a desert to ginormous trees everywhere was insane. Bryce Canyon was a complete different look than Arches. There were these giant pillars of sandstone called “Hoodoos” that you got to hike too. Looking from above you don’t realize how big the Hoodoos actually are, but once you hike down they tower over you and you gain a better perspective of how tall they are.
