In this article, the author mainly talks about the Jason Allen case and how it affected the other people competing in the art competition. Because Allen decided to use Artificial Intelligence to make his art piece so he could have something to submit for the art competition, everyone else who completed with pieces they made with their hands was stripped of a potential first place medal. This goes to show that AI is slowly taking over.

Jackson, Will. “Generative AI as a Democratizing Force in Fine Arts: Navigating the New Landscape of Creation and Consumption.” TSW, 1 Apr. 2024, repositories.lib.utexas.edu/items/9d49844e-2d10-4a07-9e95-76ed1e81f9a6.

In Will Jackson’s thesis, he explores the possibilities of AI, and how it affects the everyday lives of people. He explores how it affects people positively and negatively, and how the different features of AI work in the real world. I think this would be great for my essay because Jackson has a whole page just focusing on the Jason Allen case that bring up lots of good points for my own topic.

Lathrop-Allen, Malcolm F. “Digital Frontiers in Aesthetics: Applying Dewey’s Insights to Generative AI.” The Cupola: Scholarship at Gettysburg College, cupola.gettysburg.edu/student_scholarship/1121/. Accessed 13 Nov. 2024.

In this article, it mainly focuses on how Generative AI has generated pictures or works that would originally take months and even years to work and finish. I think this would be great for my essay because it focuses on what the other people are arguing about in regard to the Jason Allen case and how his win was not fair
