Halloween, often argued as one of the best holidays for children across the United States has many opportunities for innocent fun. From dressing up, to knocking on doors for candy, it’s a kid’s dream. As children come home from trick or treating, the question always tends to be, what is the best candy???

10. Mr. Goodbar
A candy many like but very few get, a Mr. Goodbar is low on this list based off of the rarity of one getting one of these in your basket, through the 100’s of pieces you get, you may only find five of these in the whole bag!

9. Snickers
Possibly the most consistent Halloween candy ever. Unlike the Mr. Goodbar, you will probably find about 30-40 snickers in your bag, it is the most given out and the most basic which is why it lies this low on the list.
8. Twix
If Snickers was going to be this low, it’s caramel counterpart couldn’t be that far ahead of it. Another common piece of candy given out at Halloween, this has become a staple over recent years and soon may start to surpass Snickers in pieces given per bag.
7. Hershey Bar
The Hershey bar is a classic, if you’re lucky you’ll get a king size, but often times you get a nice mini sized chocolate bar. Hershey is often considered a classic, nowadays though, kids are seeing less and less of them in their bags. It ranks ahead of Twix and Snickers strictly based off of its simplicity.
6. Sour Patch Kids
There’s nothing like coming home from trick or treating to see a few little Sour Patch Kids bags in your bag. Becoming more relevant now than ever, our first sour candy of the day makes an appearance on the list! What color is your favorite? Red, Blue or something else???

5. M&Ms
Another classic at the midway point of our list, the M&M’s have been in the Halloween game possibly the longest and are still one of the best things one can get. The reason they’re this high on the list is because of the M&M’s versatility, it can be the simple chocolate, the peanut, or the caramel filled. There’s nothing like some variation, and M&M’s have lots of that.
4. Kit Kat
Another Halloween classic, the Kit Kat doesn’t get enough love. You see the Kit Kat in your bag you don’t get too excited but by the end of the month, you eat all of them. The simplicity of two bars of chocolate being connected and breakable and oh so good, makes this candy number 4 on our list.
3. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Ah yes, the Peanut Butter Cup. The perfect blend between chocolate and peanut butter is any kids dream, with so many different variations, whether its the cup in a mini version, king size, or the pumpkin, the peanut butter cup easily cracks the top 3 of this list.
2. Butterfinger
The top two on this list may confuse some, but this is by far and away some of the best candy you can get in your bag. A Butterfinger blends chocolate and peanut butter to a spectacular level and should not be slept on. This is one of the candies you bring home, and your parents end up eating and you never bat an eye because you get so few but man oh man are you missing out.
- 100 Grand Bar
Yes, the 100 Grand Bar. I know, you’re reading this like I’m crazy and I promise you I’m not. This candy is the perfect blend between rare and popular, you don’t get too many to where your burnt out, and you don’t get too few to where you forget you even have them. This candy is a perfect blend of all the flavors you could possibly ask for and that is why it ranks number 1 on this list.
