Who am I? I am Chloe Stephens, a dedicated and driven PR professional with a deep-rooted love for storytelling and building strong, lasting relationships. In the dynamic world of public relations, I’ve found my true calling as a communicator for brands and individuals.
My PR Qualifications I recently started studying PR over the summer, but I already feel rewarded and satisfied with the work I have done to get where I am in my journey. I am very strategic, organized and personable, which are all ways I contribute to the PR industry.
What I Enjoy About PR One of the aspects I like about PR is its versatility. There are so many different tasks that a PR practitioner has to complete on a day-to-day basis that no two days are the same in this field. Whether it’s developing campaigns, communicating with key publics or helping organizations navigate through challenging times, being a PR practitioner allows me to challenge myself and take on opportunities for growth.
Why I Studied PR Studying PR was a natural choice for me because it perfectly aligned with my passion for communication and storytelling. I have always loved writing so I knew I wanted to study a subject that involved writing, communication and storytelling, which is why I chose PR. I wanted to learn how to use the power of words and relationships to create a positive impact in the world, and PR allows me to do just that.
What Motivates Me in PR What truly motivates me in PR is the potential to make a difference and build connections. Every day, I have the privilege of building and fostering connections, shaping narratives and contributing to the success of my clients, which is incredibly fulfilling.
Campus Activities and Community Involvement Outside of my professional endeavors, I’m an active member of the sorority Delta Delta Delta, a member of the Good Morning Club, and I am also in OU’s Pre-Law society.
