Portfolio

This portfolio showcases my ability to seamlessly blend aesthetics with messaging, resulting in campaigns that not only captivate audiences but also convey brand stories effectively.

Collateral Material

My first project for PR Design was to create a colleterial for the sorority Delta Delta Delta at the University of Oklahoma. I created visually engaging collateral material aimed at current, past, and prospective sorority members. Completed in Sep. 2023, my role involved designing a business card, envelope, and letterhead. Using Adobe InDesign, I learned skills of layout, typography, and consistency. This project highlighted the importance of aligning design with the client’s vision and reinforced the power of visual storytelling in effective communication. The experience enhanced my proficiency in design software and underscored the synergy between design and PR.

Direct Mail Handouts

In crafting two direct mail handouts for the University of Oklahoma Recruitment Services, I took on a project focused on reaching prospective students. The objective was to inform and engage high school seniors about the University’s diverse academic offerings, campus life, and application process. Completed in Sep. 2023, my contribution involved conceptualizing, designing, and refining the content and layout of the handout. Utilizing Adobe Photoshop, I incorporated my skills in typography and visual hierarchy. This project not only refined my design proficiency but also deepened my understanding of creating tailored collateral material to target specific audiences, illustrating the pivotal role design plays in PR.

Newsletter

While designing a newsletter for Target, my main focus was to engage and inform the retail giant’s diverse customer base. The primary objective was to curate a publication that blended promotional content with valuable information, enhancing the overall shopping experience for Target’s clientele. Completed in Oct. 2023, my role on this project was to ensure a visually compelling and informative newsletter for the spooky Halloween season. Leveraging my skills using InDesign, I strove to maintain the brand’s voice while maximizing reader engagement. This experience not only sharpened my proficiency in crafting effective communication materials but also showed me the importance of tailoring content to resonate with a broad and varied audience within the retail sector.

Brochure

This semester I took the lead in crafting a promotional brochure for Target’s Black Friday deals. The objective was to engage and inform customers about the exciting discounts and offers available during the shopping event. My role involved content creation, layout design, and visual presentation to ensure the brochure effectively communicated Target’s promotions. Leveraging my skills in graphic design, I focused on creating an aesthetically pleasing and impactful piece that aligned seamlessly with Target’s brand identity. This project enhanced my ability to produce concise and compelling promotional material while emphasizing the importance of visual communication in retail marketing.

E-Newsletter

In the development of an e-newsletter for my PR firm, Chloe Stephens Public Relations, I created a project meant to enhance communication and engagement with clients and stakeholders. Crafted to reflect the firm’s values and expertise, the e-newsletter aimed to inform recipients about our services, industry insights, and upcoming events. Completed in Nov. 2023, my role encompassed content creation, design, and the strategic incorporation of visuals and typography to ensure a professional and appealing presentation. Leveraging my skills in graphic design and content creation, I sought to maintain a consistent brand voice and foster a sense of connection with our audience. This project taught me how to design content for an e-newsletter and allowed me to work with new softwares.
