MW2 is back and ready to pick up where it left off

Fans of the classic first-person shooter game are getting a remake, coming October 28th for Xbox, PlayStation and PC. The game features new maps, new characters, but will also pay homage with some fan-favorites of the series returning like Captain Price, Soap Mctavish and everyone’s favorite, Ghost. If being in a MW2 lobby back in 2012 screaming with randoms about nothing (nothing that makes sense anyway) gives you a nostalgic feeling, you won’t want to miss it. An earlier attempt to remaster the game a few years ago backfired. The lobbies were run rampant with hackers and cheaters and the game just generally didn’t play that well. I was a victim of this once myself, and on more than one occasion. I played a single game and when I was done, everything was automatically unlocked for me! A common misconception surrounding this game is that it was originally thought to be a sequel to the 1st Modern Warfare 2, but this game will have an all-new campaign mode, as well as multiplayer and co-op missions. The developers, Infinity Ward, have had a nice run of quality games lately and MW2 should be no different.
