College Baseball is back! Opening day for the college baseball season is Friday, February 17th with the first game of the season being Oklahoma State vs Missouri. Oklahoma State is coming off an impressive 2022 season where they went 42-22 and are coming into this year as one of the more hyped-up teams in the nation. Now the other team in Oklahoma, the Oklahoma Sooners are coming into 2023 angry as they fell just short of a national title last year to the Ole Miss Rebels. Oklahoma will be looking to bounce back big time and put together another deep playoff run. LSU, Tennessee, Ole miss, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest come into the 2023 season as the favorites to be the last team dogpiling in Omaha. Tennessee held the best regular season record last season which was 57-9 and was in most baseball fans eyes the most exciting team to watch with their high energy and a plethora of homeruns. The baseball community is eager to get back to watching all sorts of new stars breakout and make a name for themselves for the upcoming MLB draft in July. There will be tons of upsets, controversial calls, and high energy games. The 2023 College Baseball should not disappoint and has been getting looked forward to ever since the last out of last year’s national championship game. A lot of teams are excited and believe that this is the year they will bring home the trophy from Omaha and be the national champions.
