Hello everyone! My name is Ellen Deal, and I welcome you to my website! I am currently a student within the Learning Sciences Masters Program at The University of Oklahoma. I am so excited to learn more about the program and take what I learn into my own professional career(s).
I am a third-year teacher that has taught third grade for three years now. Becoming a teacher had been my dream since my junior year of high school, and I am so happy to say that all the hard work getting here has paid off! My students this year love the idea that their teacher is also going to school just like them; me having class at night and having homework blows their minds.
When I am not teaching or taking classes, I love to be creative. Whether it is painting a picture, taking pictures of nature, or just sketching out ideas, I love to express myself through art. I also love playing sports, especially volleyball, tennis, and pickleball.
