Hello! My name is Clara Strange and I am a freshmen majoring in sports business. I am super excited for this class and I am excited to better my writing skills. When it comes to my general identity I am very passionate about my friends and a shared sense of loyalty. When it comes to how other people see me, it is very important that I come across as kind, genuine person. Joining the Chi Omega fraternity here at OU has many characteristics that I would like to implement into my identity. These virtues are found in the Chi Omega symphony which says ” to be womanly always; to be discouraged never.” It also says to ” speak kindly and to act sincerely.” I am confident that these are characteristics that I can implement into my life and when I am around others who uphold these things, I will feel strong and confident in upholding this identity myself.

Hi Clara!
I like in particular your final sentence, which conveys nicely how identity is both an individual and a collective question….
