The Faculty Lounge blog is a space for dialogue around themes related to the mission of the Center for Faculty Excellence at the University of Oklahoma, which is to guide all University of Oklahoma faculty in every facet of career development, including teaching, community engagement, and research and creative activities, from their first year at OU through the full arc of their faculty career. Here, faculty can read thoughts and information on scholarly writing and academic publishing, as well as skill development to help faculty enhance teaching, extend research and creative activities, engage in their communities, reflect on their professional development and foster leadership in an environment that encourages a culture of collegial support, belonging, and excellence.
