Embedding Videos

You can use your WordPress site to show videos to your audience, but you will first need to upload the videos to YouTube, Vimeo, MyMedia, or another video hosting service.

If you’re using YouTube or Vimeo, you can just copy the link for your video and paste it into a blog post or page, and WordPress will turn that link into an embedded video player.

If you upload your video to MyMedia, you will need to get the embed code.

The embed code in MyMedia can be found in the Share information for each video.

In your WordPress post or page, start a new line and change the block to an HTML block. Then paste the embed link into the HTML block.
