Embedding Sound

There are a few ways to embed sound files in a WordPress site.

If your sound file has already been uploaded to SoundCloud, Spotify, YouTube or another similar web service, you can use the block for whichever service you need to embed that audio file, as shown in the image below.

If you want to upload your sound file directly to your WordPress site, you can do that by uploading the file into your media library as shown in the image below. Please note that there is a 4MB limit on the size of the files. If your sound file is larger than 4MB, we recommend uploading it to SoundCloud or a similar service and then embedding it that way.

Once you’ve uploaded an audio file, you can embed it in your post or page by using the Audio block as shown in the image below.
