“When a man gives his opinion, he’s a man; when a woman gives her opinion, she’s a bitch.”

Bette Davis

My entire life I have been very passionate about a few things. The most common with regards to human rights such as rights for the LGBTQ+ community and racial injustices or mistreatments. I am usually a relatively “chill” person with regards to most things. Even when I don’t agree, I usually like to hear someone out to at least gain some perspective. However, there is one topic that I will never be “chill” about, and that topic is feminism, or women’s rights. There are many things that continue to shock me about this day and age and the things that are still in the air as political topics of debate, especially this one. Women have been around for just as long as men, they have been involved in every single thing a man has been involved with. You don’t think a woman ever had anything to do with wars or politics? Almost every single one of those political leaders and tyrants had a wife or some sort of woman whispering in their ear on the sidelines.

Anyways, for this research paper I would like to write about the topic of generational justice for the future. I would probably write about the speculated changes to the Roe v. Wade abortion case, how that affects the newest generations of women and how it could influence generations in the future/have generational impacts. I could also include how the court ruling originally affected women and women’s rights when it was first decided in 1973. I love research paper’s as well, so I am excited to see how this will turn out!
