they say I’m like AI

hey everyone! i’m liubava and i love lapslock.

But in the US I’m also Ava and I’m forced to write properly ๐Ÿ™‚

I believe AI is more than a powerful tool, which if properly combined with the human brain and critical thinking can help humanity become much better. It is used a lot now and, honestly, I hate it. My friends joke that I’m like AI, with random knowledge flying all around.

Who am I?

(Jean Valjean)
I come from Russia, I emigrated when Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022. I couldn’t do this right away, but in August 2022 I left Russia (but I did come back). This started my journey of losing my home, losing friends and every single time I came back I saw my world not being mine anymore, my people turning back to me because of my choice. But I chose freedom and I continue to do this every day.

Identities as they are

1. Liubava-student (sometimes Ava, as people say that my name is way too hard) – this one doesn’t have a defined identity features. I would follow the prompt, my writing will match the criteria and so on

2. Liubava-person – this one is hurt and longing to come home and be home. It has creativity, embraces freedom, and could go a very long way toward achieving some kind of goal, especially morals.

One response to “they say I’m like AI”

  1. Liubava, this is a great introduction! I’m going to comment first. I wonder if you could use your two identities this way: the first blogs about AI, media shifts, etc: the themes of our class; while the second blogs about the difficulty of (temporary?) homelessness.

Semi-random note: I have a geniune, though dormant, love for Russian literature, and sometimes wish that my favorite college professor, a Pushkin-reciting man from Kentucky, had successfully persuaded me to study the language.

ps–blogging is lapslock-friendly; Formal Essays will require caps ๐Ÿ™‚
