As a Dallas girl, something that Oklahoma has that I’ve never experienced before is Snow! February 2nd, my roommate and I woke up to a message that our dance classes were cancelled and we looked out the window and saw the beautiful white blanket of snow that covered the campus. As dancers who had just finished a show the previous week we were ecstatic to know that we would have a day off to do absolutely nothing. We took the day to sleep in and enjoy some extra time snuggled up in our warm bed. We then got up, made our beds and bundled up so that we could go get some coffee and breakfast while doing our homework and we sat in The Hive with the most beautiful view of the snow. We wanted to play in the snow so of course we went outside to play before the sun went down and we finished our beautiful cozy Snow day reading in our warm and cozy dorm. I would say This snow day in was nothing but perfect!.
