After reading Verity by the award winning author, I had to stay on the Colleen Hoover train. This book was a very different vibe and was more of an easy less suspenseful read. The romance novel tells the story of two teens who meet each other after a rather random encounter at a restaurant. They end up spending the rest of the day together and enjoying each others company only to find out the young girl, Fallon is moving to New York the next morning to start her life as an aspiring actress. Fallon tells her sudden friend that she doesn’t want a relationship so they make a plan to only see each other and date for one day a year for 5 years, that day being the 9th of November. The book takes the reader along to see how the relationship develops over the 5 years as they have only 24 hours to fall in love each year. I loved this book and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an easy read.
