Over Spring break my friend Malu and I visited my hometown, Carrollton Tx, which is about 30 minutes out from Dallas. Malu comes from Brazil and Mozambique and has never visited Dallas so we decided to hit up some of the tourist sites. One day we went to the Dallas Art museum which was recently worked on and had some the most beautiful exhibits. Malu loves coffee so it was only appropriate to go to a coffee shop so the next day we visited Lala Land Cafe which is a Cafe in Dallas that is known for their bright yellow brand. We also visited the White Rhino Cafe which was about 8 minutes from the museum. It was in a small quiet neighborhood and had and upstairs balcony with the most perfect view of the city. I think its safe to say that our Dallas trip was a successful one and Malu and I came back to Norman with so many great memories.
