My name is Jack Lederman.

I am a journalism student at the University of Oklahoma expected to graduate December 2024. I grew up in The Woodlands, Texas, about 45 minutes north of Downtown Houston. Growing up in and around the greater Houston area helped shape in me a great passion for my community and the many cultures within it.

As a student at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, I have expanded my journalism knowledge and honed my craft. I have also had the pleasure of meeting many people from all walks of life that have inspired me to serve them accurate and important news.

I spent some time at the OU Daily, getting a few articles published, before turing my attention to Sooner Esports, joining their news and media team. While working for both outlets, I gained valuable experience writing, editing, and performing other multimedia tasks such as photography, videography, and headline writing.

As I look forward, I see myself making an impact wherever I end up. I hope that this site acts not only as a display for the work I have done, but also as a reminder of where I started and the growth I have made since beginning my journey as a journalist.
