My name is Jordan Bany, and I am a freshman at the University of Oklahoma. I’m studying Business Management and hope to get a real estate license along with that degree. This blog serves as a place for my classmates and I to express ourselves during our time in our expository writing class.
As for my personal blogging identity, I am currently unsure of what I’d like to focus my writing on. Outside of my academics, I unfortunately have very few hobbies or passions. The two topics I’m currently considering are as follows:
- A lifestyle blog following along my exploits as an irresponsible teenage girl without parental supervision. In this type of blog, I would talk about my nights out, my friends, my classes, and how I feel about and what I learn from them.
- A blog where I write about all the anime’s I watch and what I think of them compared to the general public’s opinion on the shows, as well as some deeper meanings behind the shows.
I have just finished a new anime, and I plan on going out with my friends tonight, so I may write a sample post of each of these styles of blogs and let readers decide which they like best.

I like to favor both topics. I like your freedom with a teenage girl without parental supervision. Also the anime is a different topic you can change people’s minds on.So either topic that you do it will be a great blog.
I like both ideas and am waiting for one or both of these posts to appear! If you have concerns with some professor reading your student blog (would it feel like I was “supervising”?) & if you feel that will affect your authenticity negatively, we can talk about how to manage that, Jordan…
