Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will be facing each other for the third time this Saturday, October 9th at the T-Mobile Arena, in Paradise, Nevada.

The first fight was one of much controversy as they both came in with undefeated records, it ended in a split draw. Besides the draw, the biggest controversy may have been that of the 12th round when a combination from Wilder left Fury on his back and at the moment everyone thought the fight was over to everyone’s amazement Fury got to his feet to beat the count and finished the fight. The rematch was not as close and ended in a technical knock, as it ended a seventh-round win for Fury with Wilder’s corner throwing in the towel after seeing him take way too much punishment. Technically Fury wanted to go after Anthony Joshua, but due to the fight contract, there was a rematch trilogy clause that Wilder invoked.

This is now the third fight with Wilder (42-1-1) the former WBC heavyweight champion who defended the belt from 2015 to 2020, and Tyson Fury(30-0-1) who currently holds the WBC and Ring magazine titles but has previously held the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO when he defeated Wladimir Klitschko in 2015. Currently, the WBA, IBF, and WBO belts are possessed by Usyk after defeating Anthony Joshua not to look ahead as we all love to do would be the winner of this great matchup potentially soon. Usyk does still have to do the rematch against Joshua so that is what I mean by looking ahead as Joshua was probably looking ahead to unifying his belts with Fury before fighting Usyk.
