Tyson Fury extended his pro record 31-0-1 this past Saturday with a knock-out victory over Deontay Wilder in their trilogy bout. The first was a split decision draw, and the second was a victory for Fury by seventh-round TKO. This third bout was scheduled because Wilder had a contract clause for a trilogy. He went through with it because he believed that Fury had cheated him in the second match over a padding issue, his ring walk costume tiring out his legs. None of that was proven, but we have a trilogy of Wilder who had held the WBC belt from 2015 to 2020, with ten defenses vs. Tyson Fury, the current WBC champion, and Ring Magazine Title.



The boxing match between these two heavyweights at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, on October 9, 2021, lasted to the eleventh round. Wilder came out aggressive at the beginning working on a jab to Fury’s body. In the third round, Fury scored a knockdown against Wilder. Wilder came back in the fourth round by scoring two knockdowns of Fury. His body language and motion showed that he was looking for a single punch with no combinations to try and knock Fury out. Still, his power is dejected once his stamina is dropped. Now that this trilogy is in the books, can we expect to see Fury go to become the lineal champion again? We will probably still need to wait for the Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk rematch that is currently targeted sometime in the spring of 2022 with nothing signed currently
