The University of Oklahoma’s Freshman Check-In Day

Ensuring that college freshmen are handling the college transition with ease, The University of Oklahoma’s housing department organized an outdoor event on Oct. 22 to “offer fun, fellowship, and let students know about services on campus.  It’s also strategically aligned with the middle of the semester when students are starting to really feel the pressure of classes, being overwhelmed, etc.”

This Self-Love group speaks to students in practice with a “Trash your insecurities” method. This group promotes acceptance and positive self esteem.
