When designing for something designed to appear on pixels vs. on paper, your entire thought process and designing process changes. Some ideas are easier to carry out digitally, so you have to edit and write a shorter amount that usual.
My suggestion for working in digital design is the idea that you want to preview your work as much as possible ,and also look at some of the digital designs that stuck out to you (good or bad). Another piece of advice I’d have to give is putting yourself in the mind of your stakeholder. Imaging receiving your design and your reaction has helped me make the most successful designs for me.
Stakeholders are so important. Creating a good relationship with your stakeholders and making designs that heed to their interests will hook your stakeholders in. This project had two main stakeholders, but there’s a wide variety of stakeholders my project could reach. I targeted my stakeholders in the media I used for my handouts, meaning that I tried to show an academic atmosphere
My design evolved from something very over-the-top to something that was more simple, but got my point across in a better way. I liked my finished project because it looked like an actual handout. I began with a design where I had to edit my photo more than I wanted to because of the text and placement of them. When I switched my photo, it fit something that my stakeholder would like better and it made for a successful project.
