This weekend is the biggest football game of the school year, and I will be travelling to Dallas with one of my close friends to spend the weekend with him! I have never been to Dallas before, so I’m super excited to get to know the area and experience the culture around the rivalry that I am going to witness.

We weren’t able to get tickets for the actual game, but we are planning on going to a local fair in order to watch it while experiencing the culture of the area. This is a busy week as far as schoolwork goes for me, so I am going to make sure I get everything done before we leave on Thursday night.

I usually get pretty nervous when I travel, so I’ve already made a “packing list” to put together on Wednesday night. I don’t usually save things until the last minute, but I need to make sure I have everything put together before we leave so that we have no issues on the road.

All in all, I’m super excited for this little getaway! I will update next week with the events of the weekend.
