1st Semester Freshmen Year
One of the classes that I took last semester of my freshmen year is UCOL 1002-073 (First Year Foundations). The course itself was a 2 credit hour class, and the instructor was Sam Painter (he/him), and my PTA was Ezra Koenig (he/they). Honestly, my Tuesdays and Thursdays were the best last semester because it was only one class, which was my First Year Foundations. I loved the class and the relationships that I made. One of the classmates that I made in my UCOL class was Zee.
She is from McKinney, Texas and she is one of the best people you could ever meet in your life. She is hilarious with every joke that she threw in the classroom. I always got good vibes from her because her zodiac sign is a Cancer. The minute she said she was a Cancer, I was like “I love you already”. I love Cancers, they are the funniest people you could ever meet on earth, aside from Capricorns (my astrologers know what I’m talking about). No, but honestly she is amazing, and how she presents herself to the class, or wherever she goes, she will always be your life support. I know for sure she is mine because she is one of the few people that is coming to my civic orchestra performances next year. She is one of the many people that I never would have expected to call one of my best friends here at OU. If it wasn’t for UCOL class, I don’t know where I would be today. I met some others in the class, and I’m glad that UCOL brought me out of my shell to be comfortable in my own skin.

I love talking about UCOL any day. I say good things about the class as a whole. Honestly, I loved my instructor Sam Painter, and how he was very involved in the class. To say the least, I would take him again, any day. 10/10 is one of the best people to be around.
