“To travel is to take a journey into yourself.” -Danny Kale
I know you’re probably thinking, why the title “Egyptian Legacy” Luis? Well, the reason that I chose the title is that it’s a song that I love playing for fun. On my OU Journey with my playing my violin and viola, I play Egyptian Legacy because it looks like fun hearing them. It takes a lot of practice to make it beautiful. The composer is Soon Hee Newbold. I play both violin parts, and viola part. I love the song, and it reminds me a little bit of Dreamwork’s Animation, “The Prince of Egypt“. I honestly love the sound because if anyone would want to go to Egypt, of course, they would love to hear what the sound of it would be like.
Honestly, the majority of the people from other blog posts have heard it, and love it. I honestly would give the piece a 10/10 only because of the sounds of Egypt coming alive.
Please listen to Egyptian Legacy while reading About the Music.
