So I went back to my hometown, Lawton, Oklahoma, to surprise one of my good friends Dinah Hopper and many others. So it was around 5:45 when I got back home, so I went to my house. I went over there because my favorite nephew was over there playing. His name is Amador. I love him so much that I am his favorite uncle. Thirty minutes passed, and I left my house. I went to get Starbucks and wanted to try those TikTok drinks. So I waited for fifteen minutes in the drive-through and got my drink.
After that, I went to the school where the concert was. The school was Eisenhower Middle School. It’s been a year since I’ve had my last all-city performance. I also went to the auditorium where the concert was. So I went to the back of the concert hall to find a seat. One of the students screamed that “Luis is here.” I was like, “can you not?” I hid my face with two programs, and it didn’t help. I even surprised my good friend, Ava, that night. She was so excited to see me. I haven’t seen her since the all-region concert last year. I loved the orchestra concert very much, and one of my favorite concerts to attend. When the seniors were getting recognized, I tried hard not to cry. My friends that were seniors that got recognized made me so proud. I loved how all the orchestra teachers recognized their seniors from their school. It was Lawton High, Eisenhower, and Macarthur. Other than that, it was a night to remember!!! I’m grateful for the moments that the orchestra has done for the seniors!!!
