Farewell to Freshman Year

True friends are never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart.” – Unknown

So this semester kicked my butt, and it was time-consuming. I loved the memories that I made during my first year of college. Two of the people I made friends with were my friend, Elena, and my roommate, Josh. I loved the Midnight Buttery, where Dunham, one of the residential colleges, hosted it at. They both met there for the first time. I have an article titled, “To: Elena,” where I talked about seeing Elena for the first time in four years. I loved how Josh got along with Elena and being good friends.

I talked about memories from the event. Then, both of them like to argue sarcastically, and they’re Leos. So, Josh is a July Leo, and Elena is an August Leo. Elena even says that Josh is considered a “Fake Leo.” I like how they like to argue funnily. For example, the other day, Josh and Elena mentioned celebrities and talked about the before and after. All three of us discussed other famous people that have been under plastic surgery.

For example, some celebrities mentioned were Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and others. Then, we talked about other famous people that are incredibly hot. For instance, Zendaya, Blake Lively, Doja Cat, Ariana Grande, and Selena Gomez are some examples. The three of us discussed their beauty.

Then we talked about more stuff that night. Then, Elena was about to head out. Then, I asked her if she wanted to hear a song that I had done. She said, “I loved too!” I played Ashokan Farewell. It was a song dedicated to Elena and Josh since they were both leaving. So, I played the piece, and they both loved it.

Then, after that, we talked some more, and Elena wanted to take a picture with me. I told her, “what about Josh?” She said, “I forgot about him,” in a sarcastic way.

So, we took our selfie with Josh, and he got to see Elena one last time before her move-out.
