2015 Video Music Awards

So, I am a person that loves award shows and watching them on TV. One of the awards shows I adore is the MTV Video Music Awards. Honestly, I’ve seen a lot of iconic moments from the previous award shows before the 2015 Video Music Awards. From; Kanye West’s needing attention from the 2009 show, Beyoncé announcing her pregnancy at the 2011 show, Britney Spear’s performance of “I’m a Slave 4 U” with a python in 2001, etc.

One of the shows that were honestly shocking to watch was the 2015 VMA’s. I was amazed by the performances. Also, the shade was thrown left and right, etc.

I was surprised about who hosted the show. It was none other than Miley Cyrus. I was amazed at how she was down-to-earth and comedic at the same time. Even her outfits showed a lot of skin.

The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Recipient was Kanye West. Honestly, listening to his speech was tiring, but not until he was announcing that he said, “I have decided, in 2020, to run for president.” Everyone in the audience was screaming, literally at the top of their lungs. I was shocked about Taylor Swift presenting the award to Kanye due to the incident in 2009 at the same award show.

Honestly, I love watching the Video Music Awards, and I watched 2021 show that Doja Cat hosted. She was great, and the nominees and winners were spectacular.
