everything i wanted

So, I titled this blog, Everything I Wanted. I titled it because it relates to me. Growing up, I was the good child that got everything, even when working for Walmart. Since I was eighteen, I’ve got anything and everything from my parents. Now, I’ve got to work harder for what I want to desire, which is to get my bachelors from Gaylord at OU. It can be tiring at times. I’ve had the designation for achieving the milestone. Many include; a driver’s license, a car for my sixteenth birthday, and getting new clothes/shoes.

I’ve also gotten everything in high school. From: being on homecoming, being National Honor Society president, and getting a gold tassel which is what I really wanted.

Now to shift gears, I also titled this Everything I Wanted because it is a song by American Singer-Songwriter Billie Eilish. This song got inspiration for the song a year prior, when she had a dream about taking her own life. When she took the idea to her brother, he became uncomfortable with the worrying topic. “We had this big argument,” she told the publication, “Because I admitted something that I was, uh. It wasn’t a physical thing I was admitting. I don’t know how to put it without actually saying it, and I don’t want to actually say it. But it was me admitting to something that was very serious about my depression. A very serious step that I was admitting that I was planning on taking. And Finneas said, I don’t want to write a song about you killing yourself and how that’s everything you wanted!
