My Future Letter

So, lately, I went through my stack of binders that I had in high school. I found a red binder, and opened what was inside. I opened it up and discovered a letter I wrote when I was fifteen. So here it goes.

Dear Future Self,

We did it!!! Who would’ve known that you could have made it this far in your life? You’re finally going to your dream university and are going to make it your home. The University of Oklahoma is in luck to have you in their family and you get to accomplish what you desire. Remember to be firm to yourself and your surroundings at all times. If it hadn’t been for the teachers you had at Lawton High, you would’ve had a death wish upon you (LOL). Remember to show your mark on the world. You’re about to shine the light onto yourself and others. Go, strive. Thank you for accomplishing a milestone. Soon, you will have the time of your life. Just remember to watch Disney films if you ever feel down. #BoomerSooner
