First Week of Classes

We all know that every student goes through an anxious time in life. For example, trying to figure out what to wear, seeing their friends, and being on a schedule. On August 21, I was anxious and worried about how this year would be. I was at the point where my heart was pounding a lot faster than expected. So, that night I called my former teacher, Mrs. Kylee Montgomery (Coach K), and asked for some advice from her. She is an OU alumna and got her degree in communications. I honestly called her, and she gave me a lot of advice especially being on campus. She asked, “if you know where your classes are?” I said, “yes.” She replied, “see you good then.” I also found out that my birthday is in two more days. I honestly was scared; literally, my legs were shaking that night. I prayed and hoped for the best the next day.

This week went by so quickly, and honestly, I got to say it has been great so far. I commute to campus and finding a parking spot on campus sucks. The classes this semester so far have been great. I got to say one of the professors I have is Dr. Joey Williams. He teaches Classical Mythology, and I love the class so much. I also met some more people and reunited with some friends. I am glad that this week has been tremendous and that OU is my home. #BoomerSooner

Cheers to Sophomore Year!!!
