my 2nd source will be a review of AI in education. I think this will prove a great resource because it references the usage of AI before the advent of widespread GenAI. This will give me a good foundation to jump into GenAI in my essay.

my 3rd source will be role of AI in education, and this is a great modern article that was made in the age of GenAI. This offers a new perspective and a good article to use to pivot.

Grassini, Simone. “Shaping the future of education: Exploring the potential and consequences of AI and ChatGPT in educational settings.” Education sciences 13.7 (2023): 692. This article is one I expect to be a key factor in my argument of what I think should happen versus what I feel will happen. This allows me to argue that whilst it is not too late, we are rapidly approaching that point.

Beck, Joseph, Mia Stern, and Erik Haugsjaa. “Applications of AI in Education.” XRDS: Crossroads, The ACM Magazine for Students 3.1 (1996): 11-15. This article is also one I want to include in my argument that AI is merely evolving in education, not that is a new concept, it proves that whilst it is not GenAI, AI has been around in several mediums for several decades now.
