Moses Munyao is a recent PhD graduate from the School of Library & Information Studies (SLIS) at the University of Oklahoma (OU). He has a Masters and Bachelors degrees in Library & Information Science, both acquired from institutions in Kenya. Moses previously worked as a Librarian for seven years at one of the academic institutions in Kenya (USIU-Africa). Moses’ area of specialization is in School Librarianship. His research interests focus on Intellectual freedom, digital literacy, collection and policy management for children and youth services. His dissertation focused on how policy makers would be able to rethink and restructure their current policies and laws to advocate for intellectual freedom. Moses has also been a Teaching Assistant at SLIS and a Research Assistant for two Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) funded grants.
