Moses Munyao is a Doctoral candidate in the School of Library & Information Studies (SLIS) at the University of Oklahoma (OU). He has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Library & Information Science, both acquired from institutions in Kenya. Before enrolling in the PhD program, Moses worked as a Librarian for seven years at one of the academic institutions in Kenya (USIU-Africa). Moses’ area of specialization is in School Librarianship. His research interests focus on Intellectual freedom, digital literacy, collection and policy management for children and youth services. His current research focuses on how policy makers would be able to rethink and restructure their current policies and laws to advocate for intellectual freedom. Moses has been a Teaching Assistant but currently works as a Research Assistant for an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) funded grant.
