Find Target Audiences
When looking at the stakeholders of an organization, it is important to consider the fact that they may be very different from each other. While working in Photoshop for Stafford Air and Space Museum, I first focused on the audience of the parents whose children can have an educational experience. While making content for this target audience, I began to consider the types of people who would have an interest in the museum. This made me consider aviation enthusiasts to my target audience.
Design Evolution
A design evolves as the designer considers tone for their audience. In my example, I originally included a general picture of the outside of the museum for the Photoshop project for the family audience. As I continued to work on the design, I decided that it was more important to have photos of some of the exhibits and planes seen at the museum. With photos that are more interesting to children, parents will be more intrigued to bring their children to the museum and the children will be more interested. When looking at the postcard from aviation enthusiasts, I had to make sure to include plane models that would be relevant and known to this audience.
