Using design within PR is an important skill and strategy for public relations professionals. Proper attention can come from a correctly designed PR campaign. Design can target certain audiences that are deemed as most essential. Within PR design, the platform chosen to make the design is essential. Consider where and how your target audience is most likely to interact with your content. If multiple platforms are chosen, make sure to include the same branding and content so viewers will understand and recall the campaign.

It helps make the brand recognizable. Promotion can be created through brochures, posters, tour guides, presentations or social media posts. These promotions can be created through Canva, InDesign, Powerpoint or Photoshop. Canva is very user friendly and easy for first time users. Photoshop and InDesign have similar formats and take longer to become familiar with.
