Spacing and Layout for Business Cards
Business cards are an essential element to have in your business collateral. They provide an easy way of giving others your contact information. Business cards need to be easy to read and showcase only the most necessary information. Many business cards are designed with two sides, one with just the logo while the other side will have contact and essential business information. Colors on a business card should be consistent with your organization. A good way to get people to your website is by including a QR code in your business card. There are a lot of easy ways to create business cards. Websites like Canva have pre-made designs to make creating a business card easy. These designs already do well in formatting and spacing.

Creative and Simple Letterhead Design
A well designed letterhead allows an organization to send information to others while keeping branding consistent. Organization fonts and colors are still important to keep consistent while creating a letterhead. Similar to business cards, Canva has options on its website to create letterheads from designs.
Business Envelope Design
Envelopes can be a difficult form of collateral because they need to be very simple to apply to USPS postage rules. It is recommended to include your organization’s logo near the return address. The logo can either be under or to the left of the return address. The return address should also be in the same font used among other branding materials. Although an envelope cannot include all branding elements, it should still be clear to receivers who the letter is coming from. Once the envelope is opened, the reader will see the letterhead which has more obvious branding elements.
