For my first blog post I had wrote about how Katy Perry and Zoey Deschanel are celebrity doubles or doppelgangers. While we tend to only notice celebrities who have doubles, I have noticed that I too have a double. This double was really brought to my attention this weekend in Dallas as my fraternity, and I were there for the Cotton Bowl. At the Cotton Bowl we would host events with various sororities where members of these various sororities would mistake me for another fraternity member. The other fraternity member is actually one of the students that was in my pledge class is named Alibek. While I do not feel like this other member of the fraternity resembles me very well beside the point that we both do have black hair.
To really test this theory we are really doubles or could be twins throughout the course of the night we would go around saying that we were each other. While many people of both the fraternity and sororities did know the difference between us, there would be many who would believe us and then get very confused when we would stand next to each other. Although it was expected that many of the sorority members would be confused, we did not plan for some of the older members of our fraternity to believe us and mistake us for each other. While it is fun having a double, it is actually very sad that some of the older members in our fraternity could not tell the difference between us.
