Israel is a country in the middle east, and it has ownership over Gaza, also known as Palestine. Gaza suddenly wants to break away from Israel and has caused violence between the two. This is a controversial subject throughout the nation. There is one main reason as to why people around the world feel so passionate about this issue.
Religion
Israel’s primary religion is Judaism, the ethnic religion of the Jewish people. All the nations surrounding Israel are in fact Muslim countries. As most know, the Muslim countries do not particularly get along with the Jewish population in the Middle East. As Israel owns Gaza, that is where Israel has sent the Muslims of their country, to allow them to stay in Israel with no harm. Unfortunately, the people of Gaza didn’t feel that is fair.
Hezbollah, an Islamic terrorist group, came in and attacked innocent citizens of Israel who are Jewish, after a major Jewish holiday. This is specifically an attack of the people who believe in God. They murdered numerous women and children, while completely tearing Israel apart. The radical Muslims are using the people of Gaza as their shield, not caring about what happens to them, in order to tear down Judaism and Christianity in order to expand the Muslim religion.
Gaza wants to become its own country but would still easily be able to get into Israel, and continue the violent acts towards the Jewish people, just because they do not believe in the same God as the Muslims. I’d like to think of it as if we were to give New Mexico, to Mexico. New Mexico would still be in the United States location wise, but follow the rules of Mexico. That could be bad because it would easily allow the drug cartels in Mexico to have better access to the United States and cause violence. The same with Israel and Gaza. Gaza could easily plan numerous attacks on Israel like they are currently doing.

Conclusion
Overall, this crisis is very upsetting, and I will continue to pray for peace. No one Knows what exactly these battles will lead to.
