Hi Y’all! I am Paige Brown, a determined and authentic college student who values honesty, hard work,
and meaningful connections. I bring a unique blend of competitiveness and approachability,
serving as someone who can lead with integrity while also being reliable and supportive.
I currently work for Varsity Brands on UCA Staff, teaching the skills and roles of a cheerleader around the country. This makes me highly adaptable, working effectively with diverse teams at varying levels of expertise on a day-to-day basis. I’m able to quickly master new material and deliver it confidently to audiences of 300+ people. This job is about having great communication skills, marketing skills, and athletic ability.
While getting my bachelor’s degree in public relations at one of the top journalism programs in the country, minoring in psychology, and getting ready for a master’s program, I am also a cheerleader at the University of Oklahoma. Juggling all of this has taught me adaptability, time management, communication, and commitment. Leading the university in school spirit every game day makes a natural leader.
Now, let’s get a little more personal! I am originally from Orange, Texas and currently live in Norman, Oklahoma. I have done cheerleading since I was six years old and will forever be passionate about it. This is my third year on the OU Coed cheer team. Cheerleading has set me up perfectly for getting into the work force. Majoring in public relations means I must be comfortable representing and branding a company while communicating and building relationships with the public. Cheerleading has taught me just that.
I am excited to enthusiastically transfer my passion for cheerleading to crisis communication and brand rehabilitation!
