I had many things in mind while developing my designs for my social media campaign. The one thing I felt was the most important was the brevity of my message. It was hard for me at first deciding what I was going to write, but I eventually landed on being informational, and describing in a few words what an individual can do in OU GDA.
My Campaign
One setback I now realize after reflection, was that I wish I was more consistent between the messages. While they don’t contradict or are too unsimilar, my campaign as a whole needed one fluent message that can be taken from every piece of my campaign.
This to me is something I intend to keep in mind going forward when developing a campaign, as it’s an important element not to be brushed over.
Canva
I’ve personally liked using Canva before. While developing my own brand identity, I used the tool for developing my own logo and I frequently use it to put text over images to be used as images for my blog.
Heck, I even made the featured photo in Canva.
To me, its value increases more once you find different ways to use it. With how quick I managed to develop the groundwork for my campaign, its ease of use might lead to Canva being my go-to when it comes to (almost) anything design related.
