In the past, it was common in our culture for those who play video games to be perceived as too lazy or unmotivated for college, as the hobby is generally attributed to a student’s academic failure.

Even with gaming’s popularity within the generations growing up with them, it’s still considered a risk, not just to ones academic career, but their social life.

However, I think it’s easier now more than ever to maintain these important aspects of life while getting the fulfillment the hobby of gaming provides for my generation.

Avoiding addiction, managing a gaming budget and knowing when to put the controller down and go to bed are a few of many topics I plan to write about in my blog.
