I believe that the idea of preparation goes a long way. Preparation in college is a much-needed asset to ensure your definition of success despite not being perfect. For example, preparation in the classroom often looks like having all of your materials needed on hand, such as your laptop, notebook, and whatever supplies are needed within the class. Another example would be to prevent any distractions that could possibly take your attention away from the lectures or presentations. Next, preparing for exams is a priority. Ways to ensure preparation would be to study or meet with a discussion group that allows you to ask questions and listen to the feedback of your peers. With various activities and spring break coming soon, our mindsets can easily be drifted away from academics and could potentially allow ourselves to be unprepared for what assignments or exams set in the future. Knowing this, ways to instill time in the classroom would be preparing weeks prior to exams, along with turning in our assignments early to give us time to also focus on ourselves. Making time to focus on ourselves and other extracurricular activities outside of the classroom can also be an example of preparation since it allows our brain a rest and time to have fun as well.
