As you can tell, I have made changes to my blog layout. Personally, I think it looks good. I added the USA flag and a bald eagle with patriotic sunglasses on to the front cover. I also changed the name to make it more fun and to represent me, Pres. As mentioned in a previous blog post, our family friend Ron Murray had a special birthday a few weeks ago. My dad bought him a USA t shirt and the same sunglasses the cartoon bald eagle has on. Ron loved his gift and put both on immediately.

Although life in America can be misfortunate and not everyone sees eye to eye, I think building a community is important. It it so nice to cherish those wholesome memories. I am thankful for a family that supports me and is always there for me. I saw something on the news recently that noted how there is a 12.1% increase in homelessness in the U.S. That same percentage was close to the same number in 2022. I think of those lives or when I see people on the street and I feel deeply for them. I hope they will eventually be able to have everything they need to put themselves in a place for a better position, or for even the American government to do more to ensure safety and protection to those individuals.

When I was a kid, there was a time when my mom was driving us home from somewhere and a homeless woman on the side of the street was walking down the sidewalk in hopes for money or anything to help support her. We were already moving past the intersection, yet I felt something within me that knew she truly needed help and we needed to do something. So I talked my mom into getting some warm clothes and food for the woman and a few other things. I think about how she’s doing today. Although America will never be perfect, I hope more people are able to take action to assist with the homelessness problem America holds.
