Social Media, magazines, movies, commercials and even TV shows have a tendency to solely focused on selective celebrities and can easily lead to play a major role in our deciding factors, such as what we purchase, what we wear, and even can determine our various forms of slang. In addition, other daily media sources are all ways that most celebrities are magnified and are typically made to look like they are at a higher ranking than the “everyday person”. For example, Covergirl is a beauty brand and stars such as Katy Perry are most known for starring in their advertisements. This product is a mascara and other makeup brand. Often these commercials drag the consumer to participate or purchase the selected item. Another example is Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson’s line of clothing known as “Project Rock”. These are gym, running, and training clothes. I personally love this brand and love “The Rock’s” messages through this line. So although not all influencing is negative, celebrities still play a large factor in what we watch or buy. As a reflection of this, by combining each form of media and the influences of celebrities, these factors can usually sway or motivate the majority of the population.
