For Spring Break this past week, I traveled with 11 other girls to Miramar Beach, FL. We stayed in an adorable house and the trip turned out to be amazing. The process to get us there was slightly grueling.
Eleven girls trying to organize a five-day trip including housing, food and outfits would put anyone’s head in a whirl. However we handled it surprisingly well. We had multiple “get togethers” early in the semester to book a great house that met all of our needs as well as plan out every detail. We got our house booked and immediately started planning outfits. For a group of college girls, It is necessary to have themed days on a beach trip. We decided on black, neon, pattern and pink day, naturally. We then turned to the issue of meals and groceries. The adult on the trip with us was amazing and cooked many meals as well as grocery shopped and we venmoed her for all things purchased. Two meals we ate out which saved a lot of money. Lunch at Pompano Joes included tasty seafood, while dinner at Brotulas consisted of delicious pasta and shrimp.
By the end of the trip I had grown closer with my friends, made many new ones, received a lovely sunburn from five days in the heat and made countless memories. My only regret is not staying even longer.
