Luke Combs!!

This past weekend, my friend and I had the pleasure of attending the Luke Combs concert. It took place in Arlington, Texas at the AT&T Stadium where the Dallas Cowboys normally play. This was the first stop on his stadium tour. His opening acts included Lainey Wilson and Riley Green who both gave amazing performances. Riley Green sang some of his hit songs including “There Was This Girl”, a personal favorite. He also performed many covers of older songs. Lainey Wilson is rising in popularity rapidly and has many hit songs currently on the radio. These include “Stay in the Truck”, “Heart Like a Truck” and “Things a Man Outta Know”. When Luke Combs hit the stage, the crowd exploded. He has won entertainer of the year twice now and this concert proved to me why. He is filled with so much energy and is always making jokes between songs. His new album “Growing Up” just came out the day before his tour, so he sang all of his most popular songs while throwing in some new ones. I looked up his setlist before the show so that I was prepared to sing along. He threw in some covers of his favorite songs however and two encore songs. He left and tricked the crowd into thinking he was done, but then returned for his final two songs, one of which was my favorite. “The Kind of Love We Make” is my all-time favorite Luke Combs song, so naturally I began screaming upon hearing the first few notes. Overall, he gave an amazing concert that I would recommend to any country music lover and I would 100% return again.
